Emsur Mexico has been awarded ISO 14001:2015 certification, ratifying the good practices in place at the plant in the areas of production efficiency, prevention and environmental protection. The Emsur Mexico plant, located in the city of Querétaro, is the first of Grupo Lantero’s plants to obtain this prestigious international certificate, recognising the company’s commitment to the environment.
The ISO 14001 standard acknowledges sustainable management of production at the Emsur Mexico plant, which applies environment-friendly criteria to enhance its compliance with strategic objectives. The indicators evaluated by the certifying body include the efficient use of natural resources, control of emissions to the environment and the minimising of any potential accidents with an impacton the environment.
The ISO 14001 standard certificate received by the plant in Mexico is an initiative that comes within the framework of Emsur’s Global Quality Plan that aims for all of the division’s plants to be ISO 14001-certified by 2020.
MAXIMUM PRODUCT QUALITY AND SAFETY
In addition to this, our Emsur Madrid, Emsur Mexico and Emsur Argentina plants have recently successfully renewed their international BRC Packaging certificates for quality and food safety.
With this certification, Emsur, the flexible packaging division of Grupo Lantero demonstrates its total commitment to producing safe, top-quality products that comply with the most stringent international legal and regulatory requirements while also guaranteeingtheir respect for the environment.
